Over the next several weeks, the NRF Foundation is hosting free virtual events to help undergraduate students launch careers in retail.

Online recruiter chats start Feb. 1, with panels featuring recruiters from multiple companies so students can learn about a wide variety of internships and full-time roles. And the NRF Foundation Executive Mentor Experience is returning Feb. 16, 17, 23 and 24. Undergraduates can see the full schedule and sign up for these virtual events here.

“We continue to do everything we can to make sure students have access to the unique resources we can provide as they prepare to begin their career journey,” NRF Foundation Executive Director Bill Thorne says. “Our virtual format benefits both students and recruiters by creating a space where it’s easier to connect to the exciting opportunities in our industry.”

The online events for February follow the NRF Foundation’s virtual career fair held earlier this month – an event that introduced over 700 students to recruiters from more than 30 companies. Hiring is still underway, and students and recent graduates can explore the NRF Foundation’s updated job listings page to find their next role.

Undergraduates are also invited to participate in NRF Foundation scholarships to get tuition awards and valuable real-world experience. Applications are open now for the 2023 NRF Foundation Next Generation Scholarship. The competition includes a case study with Nordstrom and a top award of $25,000. Review the requirements and apply by May 2.
