5 New Features in the RISE Up Portal!

You’ve asked, we delivered! We're excited to share five new features of our RISE Up Portal for administrators, site administrators and teachers using the RISE Up program. Read on to learn about the new portal features, thanks to your feedback in the Spring 2024 RISE Up Satisfaction Survey.

1. New ResourcesPowerPoints for each course have been refreshed and broken into smaller file sizes to make them easier to download.  Additionally, there are new Supplemental Guides that include an overview of course changes and the new content that is included in the July 2024 course release. Find them by selecting “Access Resources” from the drop-down menu in the upper-left corner.

2. Track Student Progress: As students are going through their online course, you can view their progress as the percent completion of their online course in the “Status” column on the Student Report page.

3. Exam Performance by Domain: You can view the areas in which students were proficient and not proficient on their exams. This data is available on the Student Report page under “Show/Hide fields” by selecting to view the “Exam Results” column.

4. Managing Licenses: Please note that the license display has changed to now allow you to see licenses broken into pages. You can now use the arrows above the licenses list on the right-hand side to move to the next page of licenses, and the menu to determine how many licenses you want to appear on any given page.

In addition to updating the license display, you can now archive past students on the Manage Students page by selecting the student and then clicking Archive Selected Students. Archived students will not appear on the Student Report page and cannot be assigned licenses. You can view archived students on the Archived Student page, separately from the data for your current students. If you accidentally archive a student and need to undo that action, please contact the RISE Up support team.

5. Retired Curriculum vs July 2024 Curriculum: Please note if learners were assigned and started any licenses before July 22, they will continue with the now-retired version of that license. If learners are enrolled and started any licenses on or after July 22, their licenses have been updated to the July 2024 release of that license.
