Designed to help undergraduates build an extraordinary career with insights from the people who power retail, the NRF Foundation is launching a new, virtual program on Sept. 2: NRF Foundation All Access.

The move to virtual programming for students follows the National Retail Federation announcement that NRF 2021: Retail's Big Show scheduled for January in New York City will now be a virtual event.

“While this has been a difficult decision, we’ve listened to our many retail partners and university members and we believe this is the best way to keep our students and partners safe,” NRF Foundation Executive Director Bill Thorne says. “While we won’t be able to gather in-person this January, we remain committed to doing everything we can to help undergraduate students prepare to launch careers in retail.

NRF Foundation All Access will feature 12 weeks of webinars with industry leaders, and registration is open now.

“We believe that NRF Foundation All Access gives us the chance to provide the resources that our colleges and universities need – and to help more students and educators than ever before,” Thorne says.

Webinars premiere each Wednesday at noon ET with industry leaders answering questions submitted by students, keeping the conversation focused on what undergraduates need to know as they prepare to secure jobs in the industry.

“We’re very excited about NRF Foundation All Access, and we believe you will be, too,” NRF Foundation Director of Programs Paige Roy says. “We’re adding more events and more speakers all the time, and we look forward to seeing you online this fall.”

In addition to the conversations with industry leaders every Wednesday, students can participate in an online career fair, virtual store tours and virtual NRF Foundation Executive Mentor Experience, made possible by American Express. These exclusive events are all to help students build networks with professionals at a wide variety of companies – but space is limited, so reserve a spot today.

NRF Foundation All Access is the latest addition to free, online offerings from NRF. The NRF Retail Leadership Series will continue in September, and NRF’s Retail Gets Real podcast releases new episodes each Tuesday. Educators are encouraged to incorporate these resources into their courses – no matter where classes take place this fall – to share expertise from retail leaders directly with their students.

NRF Foundation All Access is made possible in part by NRF Foundation Retail Careers Champions: Burlington, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Meijer, PetSmart, Qurate Retail Group, Target and The Home Depot.

As NRF’s nonprofit 501(c)(3), everything the NRF Foundation does helps people do better for themselves, their families and their communities. Learn more about our impact here.
